Product Overview
Made from single-piece upsetting forging, our 'D' double-blocking discharge (DBB) valve is equipped with two tandem ball valve main and secondary isolation valves, as well as a heavy-duty needle drain valve. With a range of different operating temperatures and configurations, our Double Cutoff Bleeding (DBB) valves are an outstanding leader in the market.
Oliver Valves Double Cutoff Bleeding (DBB) valves offer soft or metal seats with 10mm, 14mm or 20mm diameter isolation valves; suitable for a variety of applications without the need for a traditional single isolation ball valve.
Needle drain valves are equipped with anti-rotating needle tips, which achieve linear closure while eliminating the risk of bite. Oliver Valves' standard 'D' DBB valves range from 150 pounds to 2500 pounds, but can also be rated to 10,000 PSI. A variety of materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, duplex steel, super duplex steel, etc. can be provided (as required).
A variety of other connection types and sizes are available, such as flange, hub, threaded, welded. Standard temperature range: soft valve seat up to 240°C, metal valve seat up to 350°C. All NPT connection threads are machined with single point CNC.
Significant advantages: weight and cost savings
· More compact unit: Compared to traditional connection methods, the valve integrates pipe isolation and instrument isolation functions into a single unit.
· Substantial weight reduction: This is significant on the top side of the platform when all pressure meter leads are taken into account. Typical installation weight is reduced from 33kg to 7kg, reducing weight by 75%.
· Solve the problem of horizontal pressure induced: The horizontal pressure induced pipe will generate bending moments, which may cause critical fractures at the pipe interface. Traditional methods usually require additional stanchions to support, thereby further increasing weight. Integrated design effectively alleviates this problem.
· Significantly reduced cost:
o Usually 30% savings are available compared to traditional installation methods.
o For valves made of exotic materials for more stringent processes, cost savings are even up to 70%!
· Save on-site costs: The cost of a single factory test component is much lower than the cost of purchasing Pipeline Valvess, Instrumentation Valvess, flanges, connectors and flange sealing rings respectively, and also saves management costs such as purchasing order processing and delivery department tracking of cargo parts. Lighter components also mean lower shipping costs. Overall, the cost increase in traditional methods may account for 30% of the total cost.
All Oliver products have a BS EN 10204 3.1 certificate of material traceability and stress testing. All valve bodies are uniquely encoded and associated with their certificates of material and chemical analysis.
Reliable Isolation and Safety: Double-blocking Bleeding (DBB) valves provide true isolation, ensuring maximum safety by preventing leakage between the isolation sections.
Compact and efficient design: These valves provide space-saving solutions that integrate isolation into a compact valve body for easy installation.
Designed for harsh environments: Our DBB valves are designed for high pressure applications and can operate reliably in extreme conditions, reducing maintenance needs.
