Product Overview
The 'FS' Type Single Isolating Needle Valve is designed for safe and reliable isolation. It provides a bubble-tight shutoff, non-rotating and anti-galling tip, and a dynamic self-adjusting spindle seal to ensure a long service life in various applications. It is supplied with FireSafe testing to BS6755 PT2, API 607, ISO 10497, and API 6FA.
Oliver Valves' needle valves offer metal-to-metal seating and provide a small-bore isolation valve for many applications, eliminating the need for larger and more expensive globe valves.
The Fire Safe 'FS' Type Needle Valve is supplied as standard with a non-rotating tip to allow linear closure while eliminating galling.
Oliver Valves' standard needle valves are rated at 413 bar (6,000 psi) but can be rated at 689 bar (10,000 psi). Standard Temperature range: 240 °C to 540 °C.
All NPT connection threads are Single Point CNC machined.
All Oliver products have material traceability and pressure test certificates in accordance with BS EN 10204 3.1. A unique code is stamped on all valve bodies linking them to their material and chemical analysis certificates.
Valve tips are ‘interchangeable’ without special tools or spindle changes in options of hard, soft, and metering tips.
Safety ‘spindles are ‘anti-blowout’ as standard, a significant safety feature. An anti-removable steel pin is fitted into the body to prevent the head unit from being removed inadvertently.
The dust cap protects the spindle threads from the ingress of dirt and is colour-coded for specific services.
The valves engineered by our team perform reliably even after years of use in demanding industry applications.
