Product Overview
The 'GB' Type Gauge Bleed Needle Valve is designed for safe and reliable isolation, giving bubble-tight shutoff, with non-rotating, anti-galling tips and a dynamic self-adjusting spindle seal to give long service life in a variety of applications. The additional ability to bleed the gauge cavity to the atmosphere for simple calibration is included.
Oliver Valves Gauge Bleed valves feature metal-to-metal seating and a small-bore isolation valve, suitable for various applications, allowing for the option to bleed into the atmosphere.
The Gauge Bleed valve is supplied standard with a non-rotating tip, allowing for linear closure while eliminating galling.
Oliver Valves' standard Gauge Bleed valves are rated to 413 bar (6,000 psi) but can be rated at 689 bar (10,000 psi). Standard Temperature range: 240 °C to 540 °C.
All NPT connection threads are Single Point CNC machined.
All Oliver products have material traceability and pressure test certificates in accordance with BS EN 10204 3.1. A unique code is stamped on all valve bodies linking them to their material and chemical analysis certificates.
The Gauge Bleed Valve tips are interchangeable without special tools or spindle changes in options of hard, soft, and metering tips.
Safety spindles are standard, featuring back seating and anti-blowout protection, a major safety feature. An anti-removable steel pin is fitted into the body, preventing the head unit from being removed inadvertently.
The dust cap protects the spindle threads from the ingress of dirt and is colour-coded for a specific service.
