Oliver Valves has supplied D-Type Double Block and Bleed valves equipped with injection probes to the Whiptail FPSO development in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.
The Whiptail field will be developed using the FPSO Jaguar—SBM Offshore's first Fast4Ward® vessel dedicated to the project. Capable of producing 250,000 barrels of oil per day, the FPSO is scheduled to start operations in 2027.
These valves are engineered to ensure reliable isolation and chemical injection in demanding deepwater environments, supporting long-term operational safety and efficiency.
Chris Makin, Global Sales Manager at Oliver Valves, commented: "We are proud to contribute British-engineered valve solutions to this landmark project in Guyana."
Operated by ExxonMobil Guyana with partners Hess and CNOOC, the Whiptail development represents the sixth major production project in the Stabroek Block.
This delivery highlights Oliver Valves' role in supplying critical components for the global energy sector.
